Moray MP Douglas Ross has congratulated the organisers of Keith Show for the incredibly successful return of the two-day event.
Douglas said: “After two years of the show being cancelled due to Covid, it was fantastic to see that people flocked back this year and gave the show organisers such a boost after all the hard work they put in to ensure that there was something for everyone at the showground.
“Sunday, the traditional family day at the show, drew the biggest crowd for many years, with the sun shining all day.
“I was pleased to visit on Monday to watch the cattle judging with some great stock on display, take part in a discussion with NFU President Martin Kennedy and tour the show ground which was busy all day.
“I know that organisers were holding their breath, wondering if people would come back to the show after the two-year absence, so it was heartening that the crowds returned and were able to enjoy their day out in beautiful weather. It's not every year the show is blessed with good weather, but it certainly was this year and it made for an excellent Show weekend.
"The planning for next year's show will begin in earnest but the committee and volunteers have to be congratulated for a great event this year."
